Tucked away in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, The Beresford Arms is a lovingly restored former coaching inn where historic charm meets contemporary comfort. Since our careful restoration in 2018, we’ve created a space where original stone walls and exposed beams blend seamlessly with stylish modern design—offering a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.

After a day exploring nearby treasures like Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens or Cragside House, retreat to one of our seven beautifully designed bedrooms, including a spacious suite. Nestled in the converted stable blocks at the rear of the inn, each room features king-size beds, flat-screen TVs, WiFi, and a peaceful setting for rest and relaxation. We also offer a selection of dog-friendly rooms, so four-legged guests are more than welcome.

Set within beautifully converted stable blocks at the rear of the inn, our seven thoughtfully designed rooms offer a peaceful countryside retreat with something to suit everyone.

The Stables Suite – Our largest accommodation, featuring two bedrooms, a lounge area with a kitchenette, and a pull-out sofa bed. Perfect for families or groups, it comfortably sleeps up to six guests.
Accessible King Room – Located on the ground floor, this room features a king-size bed and a modern wet room bathroom, making it ideal for guests with disabilities or limited mobility.
Family Room – A cosy option for smaller families, this room includes one double bed and one single bed.
Four Double Rooms – Each with a king-size bed, stylish décor, and all the modern comforts needed for a restful stay.
Several of our rooms are also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend can join you for the adventure.
